Day 58

Exercise: Run

Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Distance: 8.5 miles

Day 59

Exercise: Swim

Time: 1 hour

Distance: Laps

There was a band-aid on the bottom of the pool today...

Let that sink in. I swam back and forth and every lap there was a band-aid staring back up at me from the pool floor. That band-aid was stuck to someone at one point today. It used to cover up some sort of cut, wart, or something else nasty, but now it's just sitting down there looking up at me, making eye contact with me as I swam over it again and again...I thought that gross things were limited to the locker room, but oh how wrong I was. Thanks public pools.

Day 60

Exercise: Bike

Time: 1 hour 10 minutes

Distance: 15 miles

I really wanted to get to 15 miles within an hour, but I did not quite make it. I blame the episode of Friends I was watching while I biked for distracting me from staying on pace.

Day 61

Exercise: Swim

Time: 1 hour

Distance: More laps

The band-aid was no longer stuck on the bottom of the pool, but it was still stuck in my mind. Every lap, I expected to see it waiting for me. It's going to take me a long time to get over that.

Day 62

Exercise: Run

Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Distance: 8.5 miles

Quick update: I'm still not jacked. I look the same physically so...what's the point of working out if I'm not going to have a killer Spring Break body? Oh wait, I don't have Spring Break. Nevermind, we're good.

Day 63

Exercise: Bike

Time: 2 hours 50 minutes

Distance: 40 miles

I only fell once today with my clip in shoes, and no I don't really want to talk about why I'm still falling, and yes I realize I should be able to ride a bike without falling over. I'm going to get the hang of this one day.
