One sentence paragraphs don’t always work

One sentence paragraphs don't always work.

They're poetic (kind of).

They get people to click “read more".”

But after that they're boring.

They look like space fillers.

They reflect incoherent thinking.

And they test a reader's patience (so much scrolling).

Sure, big paragraphs are overwhelming.

But a series of single sentences has the same effect.

Which is why it helps to break it up. Try something crazy, like, I don't know, a two sentence paragraph.

Or if you want to go wild (and I mean really wild), you could write three sentences. You could connect them all with the same thought. And then see where that thought goes next.

It's scary, I know.

But you're brave. I know that too.
