Nick and Nora

There is a pair of bald eagles nesting at White Rock Lake right now. Nick and Nora. I've altered my commute to drive by their nest every morning—I've even caught glimpses of them high in the trees.

They will be gone in a month, I'm told, but I may keep driving by their nest anyway. This five-minute detour has become a regular highlight of my day.

It makes me wonder what other wonders are out there just outside my normal routines.

It makes me wonder if there aren't other ways God is tapping on my windowpane, inviting me to look outside and see something cool he has made.
