What is The Paper?

It’s like a strange secret

in that, you’ll never be able to find it on Google because “the” and “paper” have to be two of the vaguest words in the English language.

Or really, it’s like a blank page

in that, paper—when untouched—can lead to infinite possibilities, whether via origami, painting, or just plain old words.

Either way, it’s for you

in that, you can read it. But really, it’s for me. Because I need a place to house my thoughts. And this piece of paper is my corner of the internet—like in an “it’s not much but it’s home” kind of way.

The door is open. You can leave your shoes in the hallway. There’s a still-warm coffee pot in the kitchen. Come on in and make yourself comfortable. I have no idea what we’re going to talk about next, but I’m curious to find out. I hope you are too.
