Atomic Habits

I love books about habits. Obviously, I’ve written about my own experiences in this field, but there’s something that always interests me about the science and psychology behind what makes us act the way we do.

James Clear writes in a way that is—I hate myself for this but…—clear. He shares anecdotes in every chapter and gets to the point behind them with efficient precision. While self-help books tend to waste a lot of words, this one doesn’t.

When I finished the book, however, I felt tired. In a book that’s all about “being our best selves,” a little grace would’ve gone a long way. That being said, the research is airtight, and the subsequent conclusions are presented in ways that are practical and practiceable.
